How close to a STOP sign may you park?
The rule
Don't park within 30 feet of a STOP sign, a yield sign or a traffic signal. Only a brief stop to pick up or drop off passengers is allowed there.
Keep your parked car at least 30 feet from a STOP sign, a yield sign or a traffic signal, so drivers can see it.
From the Georgia Drivers' Manual, page 20. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the DDS have the final word.
