Practice question · Parking
Fire station

You're parking on the opposite side of the street from a fire station's driveway. How far from the spot facing it must you be?

The rule

On the fire station's side of the street, don't park within 20 feet of its driveway. On the other side, stay 75 feet from the spot opposite the driveway.

On the far side of the street, stay 75 feet from the spot facing a fire station driveway. On the station's own side, stay 20 feet from the driveway.

From the Georgia Drivers' Manual, page 20. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the DDS have the final word.
