A bicyclist rides in the middle of your lane, though a bike lane is nearby. Is that allowed?

The rule

Bicyclists may ride on every Georgia road except interstates and interstate-like highways. The law lets them use the full lane, and they don't have to ride in a bike lane even where there is one.

Georgia law lets bicyclists use the full lane, and they are not required to ride in a bike lane. Treat them like any other road user.

From the Georgia Drivers' Manual, page 42. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the DDS have the final word.
