No one is hurt and your car still runs after a crash. What should you do?
The rule
If no one is hurt and your car still runs, move it off the road, staying as near the crash spot as you can, then swap information with the other driver.
If no one is hurt and your car can move, pull it off the road close to where the crash happened. This keeps people safe and traffic moving.
From the Maryland Driver's Manual, Section 8, page 43. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the MVA have the final word.
