You crash into a car pulling out of a driveway, and the other driver is hurt. What should you do?
The rule
In a crash where anyone is hurt, including a pedestrian or bicyclist, you must stay at the scene, call 911 at once and say how many people, what injuries and where, and not move the vehicles.
If anyone is hurt, stay at the scene and call 911 immediately. Say how many people are involved, what the injuries are and where you are, and don't move the vehicles.
From the Maryland Driver's Manual, Section 8, page 43. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the MVA have the final word.
