Practice question · Right of way

At a roundabout with two lanes, which lane do you use to turn right?

The rule

In a roundabout with more than one lane, a right turn means you enter in the right lane and also leave in the right lane.

In a multilane roundabout, choose your lane by where you're going. To turn right, use the right lane to enter and to leave.

From the California Driver Handbook, section 7, page 40. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the DMV have the final word.
