Practice question · Signs and markings

What does this sign warn you about?

The rule

Construction and maintenance warning signs are orange with black markings and warn of road work ahead. In a work zone, a flagger's directions carry the same weight as a regulatory sign.

Orange signs with black markings warn of construction and maintenance work ahead. Slow down and watch for workers, equipment and lane changes.

From the Georgia Drivers' Manual, page 33. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the DDS have the final word.
