You just passed a bicyclist in a bike lane. May you turn right right away from your through lane?
The rule
Never turn right from a through lane just after passing a bicyclist on the shoulder or in a bike lane, and don't turn left right in front of a bicycle.
Never turn right from a through lane right after passing a bicyclist in a bike lane or on the shoulder. You could turn across the bicyclist.
From the Maryland Driver's Manual, Section 7, page 41. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the MVA have the final word.
