When may you move back into a truck's lane after passing it?
The rule
Pass a truck quickly, don't pass on its right when it may be turning, and move back in front only when you can see both its headlights in your rear-view mirror.
Only pull back in once the truck's two headlights show in your mirror. Pulling in too soon leaves it no room, and slowing down makes it worse.
From the Maryland Driver's Manual, Section 7, page 38. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the MVA have the final word.
