Practice question · Sharing the road

You're driving beside a large truck, in a spot where its driver can't see you. What should you do?

The rule

Don't travel where the driver ahead can't see you, above all near large trucks: either stay far enough back to be seen, or pass. After passing a truck, don't cut in front of it and slow down.

Don't ride in a truck's blind spot. Either stay far enough back for the driver to see you, or pass the truck.

From the Georgia Drivers' Manual, page 41. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the DDS have the final word.
