The rule
After a crash on a multilane highway or expressway with no apparent serious injury or death, drivers must move vehicles that can still be driven safely off the road to the shoulder, median or another safe place. Moving them isn't an admission of fault.
After a crash on a multilane highway or expressway with no apparent serious injury, move drivable vehicles off the road to a safe place.
From the Georgia Drivers' Manual, page 50. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the DDS have the final word.
