You got your Class D license last month. Who may ride with you?
The rule
With a Class D license: for the first 6 months, only immediate family may ride with you; for the next 6 months, at most one passenger under 21 who isn't family; after that, at most three passengers under 21 who aren't family.
During the first six months with a Class D license, only immediate family members may ride with you.
From the Georgia Drivers' Manual, page 8. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the DDS have the final word.
