Your car stalls on railroad tracks. What should you do first?
The rule
If your vehicle stalls on railroad tracks, get out at once and move away from the tracks. Then find the Emergency Notification System (ENS) sign at the crossing and call for help, telling them a vehicle is on the tracks.
If your car stalls on the tracks, get out immediately and move away. Then call the number on the crossing's ENS sign.
From the Georgia Drivers' Manual, page 21. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the DDS have the final word.
