Driving in fog
A free practice question for the Maryland permit test, with the answer explained.

How should you adjust your driving when you enter fog?
The rule
In fog, slow down, use low beams only (and fog lights if you have them). If it is too thick to drive safely, pull completely off the road and turn on your emergency flashers.
Reduce your normal speed in fog. Use low beams only, plus fog lights if you have them.
From the Maryland Driver's Manual, Section 5, page 28. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the MVA have the final word.
