Where may you never park?

The rule

Never park in a bike lane, a bus stop ($100 fine), a taxi stand or a posted loading zone, on a sidewalk or median, facing against traffic, double parked, on the Massachusetts Turnpike, or on a rural roadway outside a thickly settled district.

Parking in a bicycle lane is never allowed. Bike lanes are for bicyclists.

From the Massachusetts Driver's Manual, page 111. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the RMV have the final word.
