What are a large truck's "no zones"?

The rule

Big trucks and buses have deep blind spots behind them and bigger ones on both sides than a car has, and a long-hood tractor can have a 20-foot blind spot in front. Stay out of these no zones.

No zones are the big blind spots around large trucks and buses: deep ones behind, wide ones on both sides, and a 20-foot one in front of some long-hood tractors. Stay out of them.

From the New York State Driver's Manual, page 74. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the DMV have the final word.
