At a T intersection with no STOP or YIELD signs, who has the right of way?

The rule

At a T intersection with no STOP or YIELD signs, traffic on the through road (the road that keeps going straight) has the right of way. If your road ends at the T, you wait.

At a T with no STOP or YIELD signs, everyone on the through road goes first, including bicyclists and pedestrians. If your road ends at the T, you wait.

From the California Driver Handbook, section 7, page 39. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the DMV have the final word.
