Practice question · Speed and conditions

Unless a sign says otherwise, what is the speed limit on a Florida interstate or turnpike?

The rule

Florida's standard limit on limited-access highways is 70 mph, and no Florida speed limit is ever higher than 70 mph.

Florida's limited-access highways, such as interstates and turnpikes, have a 70 mph limit unless signs post a lower one.

From the Official Florida Driver License Handbook, page 28. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the DMV have the final word.
