When may you park in a disability parking space?
The rule
Park in a disability space only with an MVA disability plate or placard, and only when the person it was issued for is driving or riding in the car.
You need an MVA disability plate or placard, and the person it was issued for must be the driver or a passenger.
From the Maryland Driver's Manual, Section 9, page 49. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the MVA have the final word.
