You hold a disability placard. May you park on the access aisle next to a disability space?
The rule
Don't park on any part of the access aisle beside a disability parking space, even with a disability plate or placard: people use it to get in and out.
Wheelchair users need that aisle to get in and out of their cars. Parking on any part of it can bring a citation, placard or not.
From the Maryland Driver's Manual, Section 9, page 50. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the MVA have the final word.
