Practice question · Parking

You have a disability placard. May you park where your car blocks part of a curb cut (the ramp in the curb)?

The rule

Don't park in front of or block any part of a curb cut (the ramp in the curb), even with a disability plate or placard.

Leaving your car where it blocks even part of a curb cut can get you a citation, placard or not.

From the Maryland Driver's Manual, Section 9, page 49. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the MVA have the final word.

Often mixed up with

People confuse these rules with this one. Each has its own practice question.
