The rule
Cars in a funeral procession use headlights and hazard flashers and may go through a red signal. Other drivers must yield to the procession even on a green light, until it has passed.
Other drivers must yield to a funeral procession even on a green light, until every vehicle in it has passed.
From the Maryland Driver's Manual, Section 5, page 32. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the MVA have the final word.
