Practice question · Alcohol and drugs

You're over 21. At what breath or blood alcohol level is your license suspended at a DUI arrest?

The rule

For drivers 21 and over, an alcohol level (BAL) of .08 or more in a breath or blood test means your license is suspended on the spot at a DUI arrest. You can be charged with DUI whenever alcohol or drugs impair your driving.

For drivers 21 and over, a BAL of .08 or more means an on-the-spot suspension at a DUI arrest. Under 21, the level is .02.

From the Official Florida Driver License Handbook, page 25. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the DMV have the final word.
