May you drive through an area of pavement marked as a safety zone?

The rule

Never park in or drive through an area whose pavement markings show a fire lane or a safety zone.

It's against the law to drive through or park in an area marked on the pavement as a safety zone or fire lane.

From the Official Florida Driver License Handbook, page 46. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the DMV have the final word.
