A crossing signal warns that a train is coming. What's the closest you may stop to the crossing?

The rule

Stop at a railroad crossing when its lights flash, the gate is down, a flagger warns of a train, or a train is clearly visible. Never stop on the tracks, and keep at least 15 feet back from the crossing.

When a crossing warns of a train, stop no closer than 15 feet to the crossing, and never on the tracks.

From the Official Florida Driver License Handbook, page 56. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the DMV have the final word.
