Practice question · Right of way
No signs

You and another car reach an intersection with no signs or signals at the same time. Who goes first?

The rule

At an intersection with no signs or signals, when two vehicles arrive at the same time, the driver on the left yields to the driver on the right.

When two vehicles reach an intersection with no signs or signals at the same moment, the one on the left yields and the one on the right goes first.

From the Georgia Drivers' Manual, page 17. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the DDS have the final word.
