At a four-way stop, who goes first after everyone has stopped?
The rule
At a four-way stop, every driver stops and yields to pedestrians. Then vehicles go in the order they arrived; if two arrive at about the same time, yield to the one on your right.
At a four-way stop, everyone stops fully. The first to stop goes first. If two stop together, the one on the right goes first.
From the Georgia Drivers' Manual, page 17. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the DDS have the final word.
