You're parking on a hill with no curb. Which way should you turn your front wheels?
The rule
Parking uphill where there is no curb, turn your wheels to the right, so the vehicle would roll off the road if the brakes failed.
Uphill with no curb, turn your wheels to the right so the car rolls off the road if the brakes fail. Downhill, turn them right too.
From the SCDMV Driver's License Manual, page 7-13. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the DMV have the final word.
