You're parking facing downhill next to a curb. Which way should you turn your front wheels?
The rule
When you park facing downhill, turn your front wheels toward the curb, so a rolling car runs into the curb.
Downhill: turn your wheels toward the curb, so the curb catches the car if it rolls. Uphill with a curb: away. Uphill with no curb: to the right.
From the Official Florida Driver License Handbook, page 66. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the DMV have the final word.
