Facing uphillCurb

You're parking facing uphill next to a curb. Which way should you turn your front wheels?

The rule

When you park facing uphill next to a curb, turn your front wheels away from the curb, so a car that rolls back stops against it.

Uphill with a curb: turn your wheels away from the curb, so a car rolling back stops against it. Downhill: toward the curb. Uphill with no curb: right.

From the Official Florida Driver License Handbook, page 66. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the DMV have the final word.
