Which way do you drive around a roundabout?

The rule

Traffic in a roundabout always circulates counterclockwise. You always enter and exit to the right, keep circling until you reach your road, and in a multilane roundabout you don't change lanes.

Traffic in a roundabout always moves counterclockwise around the center island. You enter to the right, and you exit to the right.

From the Georgia Drivers' Manual, page 37. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the DDS have the final word.
