Practice question · Right of way

Which way do you drive around a rotary?

The rule

Traffic in a rotary travels counter-clockwise around the central island. Signal as you would at any intersection, use your right signal to exit, and never stop in the rotary.

Traffic in a rotary flows one way around the central island: counter-clockwise. You enter by heading to the right.

From the Massachusetts Driver's Manual, page 101. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the RMV have the final word.
