You see this orange triangle on the back of a vehicle. What does it mean?
The rule
An orange-and-red triangle on the back of an animal-drawn vehicle or farm or construction equipment means the vehicle travels at less than 25 mph. Slow down and pass only when it is safe.
An orange and red triangle on the rear of an animal-drawn vehicle or farm or construction equipment means it goes slowly. Be careful when you approach.
From the SCDMV Driver's License Manual, page 10-16. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the DMV have the final word.
