Practice question · Signs and markings

You see this emblem on the back of a vehicle. What does it mean?

The rule

Vehicles that travel at 25 mph or less on a public highway, such as farm equipment, horse-drawn vehicles and highway work vehicles, must show the slow moving vehicle emblem.

This emblem marks a slow moving vehicle, one going 25 mph or less, like a tractor or a horse-drawn buggy. Be ready to adjust your speed.

From the Virginia Driver's Manual, section 2, page 11. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the DMV have the final word.
