Practice question · Right of way
No signs

At an intersection with no STOP or YIELD signs, who has the right of way?

The rule

Where no sign or signal says who goes, vehicles go in the order they arrived, and any vehicle already in the intersection goes before you.

With no STOP or YIELD signs, whoever reaches the intersection first goes first. If two of you arrive together, the one on the right goes first.

From the Official Florida Driver License Handbook, page 62. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the DMV have the final word.
