At an intersection with no signs or signals, which vehicle must you yield to?
The rule
At an intersection with no signs or signals, slow down and look both ways. Yield to any vehicle already in it from your right or coming from your right, and make sure a driver on your left is yielding before you go.
At an uncontrolled intersection, slow down and look both ways. Yield to any vehicle on your right, whether it is already in the intersection or still coming.
From the Massachusetts Driver's Manual, page 100. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the RMV have the final word.
