At a STOP sign with a stop line, where should you stop?
The rule
At a STOP sign, stop before the stop line. With no stop line, stop before the crosswalk; with neither, stop before the intersection where you can see cross traffic.
At a STOP sign, the stop line shows where to stop. Stop behind it, not in the crosswalk or the intersection.
From the Official Florida Driver License Handbook, page 47. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the DMV have the final word.
