A school bus ahead is stopped with its red lights flashing. What must you do?

The rule

Stay stopped for as long as a school bus is stopped, or getting ready to stop, with red or amber lights flashing or the stop arm out. On a two-lane road, drivers going both ways stop.

Keep stopped for as long as a school bus is stopped or about to stop and shows flashing red or amber lights, or its stop arm.

From the SCDMV Driver's License Manual, page 7-8. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the DMV have the final word.
