May you drive your car in a bike lane in Florida?
The rule
Cars may not drive in bike lanes. When you turn across one at an intersection, yield to any bicyclist and turn behind them; cross it only when no bicyclist is there.
Motor vehicles are not allowed in bike lanes. You may cross one when turning at an intersection, only when no bicyclist is in it.
From the Official Florida Driver License Handbook, page 45. This question is our own wording of that rule. The handbook and the DMV have the final word.
