Permit test tomorrow?

One evening is enough to get your documents ready and go over the rules people mix up most. It isn't enough to learn everything from scratch, so spend it where it counts.

Independent practice site. We're not the MVA and aren't connected to any government agency.

Tonight

  1. Take the free 20-question test (about 5 minutes) and note the topics you miss.
  2. Go over the rules people mix up most (below). Many of them are numbers: distances, seconds, days and fines.
  3. Look again at what you got wrong, then stop. No new topics tonight.

What to bring

  • Your MVA appointment.
  • An original proof of age with your full name, such as a birth certificate or passport.
  • Your Social Security number, or proof you aren't eligible for one.
  • Two documents proving you live in Maryland.
  • Your glasses or contacts, if you wear them. There's a vision screening.
  • Under 18: your parent or legal guardian to co-sign, and under 16 the DL-300 form.

About our plan, if you're thinking of it tonight

With one day left, our Ready Plan gives you a 1-day plan and says what it can't cover. It can't confirm you're ready: Ready needs two full practice exams on different days. If the free test already goes well, you probably don't need it.
